Adventures Santa Cruz is offering three weeks of camp July 2026 at a new rental camp location! We will be running camp at Camp Santa Cruz, just 1/2 mile from the beach. We are so excited to host you and your students for an amazing week of growing closer to Jesus and adventuring together! Summer 2026 camp weeks are:
week 1: July 7-11
week 2: July 12-16
week 3: July 17-21
Adventures will include morning surf sessions, kayaking with seals and otters, hiking in the redwood forest and floating down the river, playing at the beach, and more! Our focus is helping adolescents follow Jesus for life, so a discipleship camp week at Adventures will include morning devotional time, trail talks, intern stories, club talks centered on practices to help us grow in our faith, and cabin times.
If you have any questions, please give us a call (530-448-6026) or email info@adventures.younglife.org or check out ylacalifornia.com. We would love to help provide a week of life-changing discipleship for you and your high school students! We also offer service/ discipleship trips to Mexico, so give us a call to book a trip to Baja!
Fingerprinting Requirement: All California camps are required to ensure that anyone working directly with kids be fingerprinted according to the Child Safety Law. Each leader attending a Young Life camp in California will need to print the Live Scan form found online and take it with them to be fingerprinted. Make sure you comply with this in a timely manner as these forms can take weeks to get processed and will need to be completed prior to attending camp. Thank you!
Travel: Please remember to have transportation for your group for the week of camp as we caravan to all off-site adventures. If you are flying, San Jose is the closest airport (45 min), followed by San Francisco (1 hr 30 min) and Oakland (1 hr 30 min). Plan to rent vehicles for your group to drive to Camp Santa Cruz, arriving at 3 pm on the first day of camp. Departure on the last day of camp will be at 10:30 am.
Health Forms: Young Life is making updates to the U.S. Health and Consent Forms. The online 6007 Health and Consent form will not be available until early 2026. Stay tuned to Day Zero and the Health, Consent, and Release Form page on Staff Resources for the latest updates. Questions? Reach out to ylcamping@sc.younglife.org.
What to bring: You can find a packing list on our website here. Please don't forget your sleeping bag, pillow, towels, shoes to walk in a river, flip flops for the bathroom, and clothes to be active each day! It can also be cool in the mornings and evenings, so don't forget a sweatshirt(s)! No themed or dress up clothes are necessary.
