Summer 2024
Before we jump in, we want to pause and thank you. Thank you for showing up in the lives of hurting teenagers with the HOPE of the Gospel. Thank you for sharing the LOVE of Jesus with them as you build friendships. Thank you for continuing to pursue them in the middle of chaos. The work is certainly not easy, but it is so important. We pray that your time at LoneHollow Ranch will be a breath of fresh air and will provide your HS, MS, CPRNM and YLVS friends the opportunity to experience adventure, laugh, and hear about the greatest Story ever told.
There is a lot of information. However, we have worked hard to ensure that unnecessary information or to-dos have been left out. Hopefully, everything included here will keep you informed and make it as easy as possible to get to LoneHollow Ranch this year.

Updates to Know Now

- YL Connect Camp can be used for registration, payments, and trip management tools. A standard registration template has already been added to your YL Connect account and is ready to be customized for your trip. All registration pages are to be published by January 15, 2023.
- Other Areas Your Week: Want to see which other areas will be at Willow Springs your week? On your camp trip in YLCC, click the dropdown arrow in the top right and select "Camp Trips by Week". This will show you every trip at the camp you are attending organized by week. If you want to see all camp trips, check out the Camp Reservation Report found on the Camp Home page. Adjust the filters to match your week's criteria.

***Exact due dates for your camp trip can be found at the bottom of this page.***
- R1 Contracts are due by end of day January 15, 2023
- R2 Contracts are due by end of day April 1, 2023
- 10-Day Report: The 10-Day Report is due 10-days prior to your arrival by 12:00 PM (Noon) CST.
- 48-Hour Report: (Arrival Form): All participants (campers and leaders) attending your camp trip must be registered in YLCC, and housing must be completed 2-days prior to your arrival by 12:00 PM (Noon) CST. Once everyone is registered, and housing is completed, submit your 48-Hour Report by clicking the 48-Hour Complete button on the Arrival Form in YLCC.
- Day 1 Call-In: The Day 1 Call-In is a phone call to LoneHollow Ranch (830-966-6600) on Day 1 by 10:00 AM CST. No form is required. Be prepared to provide the following information: ETA, final number breakdown, and any changes. You will call one more time an hour before your arrival to schedule a specific arrival time.

Health & Consent Form (YL-6007)
- Please ensure your campers and leaders have a completed health form prior to your arrival at camp.
- Though the online health forms is preferred, the most up-to-date paper version can be used.
- Older versions of the paper health form will not be accepted.
Leader Orientation

Prior to your arrival at camp, please have your leaders complete the Summer Camp Leader Orientation via Young Life Access.
Electronics
❮
Please collect all personal electronics (cellphones, cellular-enabled watches, iPads, laptops, DVD players, etc.) prior to your arrival. Place in individual Ziploc bags and label with the camper's name and area number. These will be collected upon arrival and stored until your departure.
Medications

Please collect all prescription medication prior to your arrival. Place in individual Ziploc bags and label with the camper's name and area number. All medications must be in their original prescription container with the label. These will be collected upon arrival and stored in the infirmary to be dispensed by our Medical Team. We will collect all medications except birth control, epi-pens, and inhalers. Minors should not bring Over the Counter Medication to camp, we are prepared to distribute over the counter medications when needed.
Early Departures

If a camper needs to leave separate from the rest of your area, a completed Permission to Leave Camp Early form (YL-1853) must be turned in to the office before the camper can leave camp.

- Does Willow Springs offer transportation to San Antonio International Airport (SAT)? Willow Springs, unfortunately, cannot offer transportation back and forth between SAT. Click HERE to review a travel option to and from the airport. Please note that this travel option is not owned by Willow Springs.
- Who all's medication is collected while at camp? All campers and leaders medication is collected upon arrival to camp. It will be collected when you check-in with Head Leaders. All emergency medications (ex: EpiPens) will be returned to individuals once it has been logged (by the first leader meeting on night 1).
