Woodleaf Trip Leader Info

Trip Leaders, we are grateful for the time and energy you have invested in knowing kids. We are looking forward to serving you at Woodleaf this summer. We have been planning and preparing for you and your campers and cannot wait to create a space where they all feel a sense of belonging and excitement as they encounter the Gospel!

Christ’s love compels us to create a culture of Diversity, Equity, and Belonging at Woodleaf, so that we reflect the full breadth of the Kingdom of God and those we serve. A culture of belonging is a core value to ensure that Woodleaf is a place where every person is welcomed, known, heard, respected, and celebrated for the ways they uniquely reflect the image of God. This will be achieved through a posture of listening, learning, relationship, personal sacrifice, and action.

We are committed to this in every effort from the planning of trips, the events at camp, the recruitment and training of our staff and volunteers, and how we serve one another. We are so excited to serve you and can't wait to spend the summer with you!

As you prepare for your trip, please use the information below to plan. This page highlights all of the most pertinent information and resources to equip you for your trip.

All questions can be directed to Benjamin Potter, the Admin Manager for Woodleaf. He can be reached at the Woodleaf office - (530) 675-2252 or bpotter@wdl.younglife.org. Please look over this page, its linked documents, and especially the FAQ section before reaching out for questions.
